DHET Accredited Lists of Journals

Accredited journals are recognized research output which meet specified criteria and therefore qualify for subsidization by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). To receive subsidy or recognition for an article you have written, you should select a journal which is accredited from one of the lists below.

Kindly check all the lists below to see whether your journal article earns subsidy from the Department of Higher Education and Training. ONLY journals listed on these lists will currently earn subsidy.

NB: there are South African journals which are not listed on any of the ISI / IBSS lists but which do in fact earn subsidy. For this reason please do not forget to check the Approved South African Journal Lists.
